BLOSSOMING THROUGH THE ARTS! This project is
one section of the comprehensive Musical Theater Arts Program
created and produced by Terri New, owner of Incite Productions –
Incite Creativity! The Library Journal in its STAR Review called
this project “Amazingly accessible...” Terri is in the process of
reformatting the original project for online learning. Terri created
the project as a tool for schools and communities to enhance
creativity and musical theater. It gives teachers and students ways
to develop their talents and the organizational skills to mount a
successful and highly entertaining production, as well as teaching
character and leadership skills. There is a lot more than meets the
eye in the comprehensive curriculum. This engaging project offers
many modes in the theater production field. Designed for every
degree of talent in a budding artist, it provides the tools for
their artistic development. Activities include poetry, singing,
dancing, cooking, costuming, lighting, stage makeup, building
business acumen, public-relations, playwriting, radio plays, and
building a miniature theater, with ample organizational components.
ABOUT MUSICAL THEATER ARTS VOLUME 1:
Terri New had a vision... She recognized the priceless impression an education rich in the arts can make on a young mind. That arts keep children in school, provide motivation and help them better understand the world in which they live. The arts enhance the ability to appreciate a world steeped in diversity. Her vision was shared and supported by over 200 wonderful, exceptionally creative, talented caring people.

"I have to tell you that the kids just absolutely lit up, they got to use all their talents with this wonderful play. They discovered a whole new arena in which to express themselves. We are seeing it in the way they are giving speeches, the risks they are willing to take, to go and do new things and play new roles, such as in the debate team. You guided them, you involved them, you made it their play and I saw how they followed through. It was a wonderful experience for the children to get up in front of an audience and perform and feel so important. You've got the magic! I felt lucky to be a part of this!"
